1. Planning structure
A line belongs to only one group in a given effective period. Restructuring creates a dated record rather than rewriting plan history.
2. What the selected group controls
SAFE SAMPLE
Men’s woven
- Owns dated group capacity and eligible operations.
- Inherits its factory calendar unless an authorised exception exists.
- Contains lines receiving detailed order-operation allocations.
- Does not alter product route, TNA, actuals, or published history.
3. Group definition
Archiving stops future allocations while retaining historical plan, capacity, and audit evidence.
4. Lines in this group
| Line | Calendar source | Capacity owner | Eligible operations | State |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Line 01 | Factory calendar | Line manager A | 18 | Active |
| Line 02 | Factory calendar | Line manager B | 16 | Active |
Eligible operations are configured only after the operation and resource masters.
5. Safeguards
- Users see only authorised factories and groups.
- Effective dates preserve historical capacity and allocations.
- Planner shows affected open allocations before a line is archived.
- Stable IDs preserve history when labels are renamed.
